Optimize Your Company Page on LinkedIn

Strategies to aid your marketing

LinkedIn is a great resource for businesses hoping to recruit new team members, highlight their products/services, engage with customers, and learn about new innovations and events relevant to their industry. So how do you build your company page for the best chance of success? Here are a few tips you can use to optimize your page on LinkedIn.

Keep it consistent. You want the name of your company to be an exact match of the name you use on your website, Google tools, and all other social platforms. Google will be able to index the page and add it as an official extension. Use a high quality image of your logo consistent with your branding and 300x300px in size.

Fill out everything. LinkedIn gives companies a lot of options to add information and completed profiles get 30% more views per week than incomplete ones. Use the checklist provided on the side of the screen to make sure every box is checked and you have left nothing blank.

Create a call to action. LinkedIn provides a button businesses can assign with their call to action. The options are: visit website, contact us, learn more, register, or sign up. Choose the best one for your goal and link the button to a strong landing page.

Post with purpose. Do not post just for the sake of posting, your content should be relevant to your audience and provide them with something useful. Informative content is great and can help drive traffic to the blog on your website if you have one. Your posts should have value and be a memorable representation of your brand.
